咦，你怎么也出来跑步了？”“哎，还不是为了让宝宝快点长大，升到第三级就能选翅膀了，到时候可以带它飞翔哦，嚯嚯！”
还记得小时候超流行的电子宠物么？人手一个，走到哪玩到哪，俨然就是那个时代的手机，不过似乎只在小朋友中流行，过了年纪也没人再用了。现在，两个小伙子希望用智能手机把电子宠物的魔力再次召唤出来，顺道让那些不喜欢运动的朋友能每天多走几步路。
他们要做的这个应用叫（读起来有点像Walkman），把计步器和电子宠物养成结合到了一起。你可以在Wokamon里养一只宠物，陪它游戏给它洗澡，不过要想让它长大，你得消耗自己的能量去运动，运动的越多，宠物长的越快。
两个创始人一个在上海，一个在悉尼，都是兼职在做这个项目，有兴趣的朋友可以去上支持他们。分工上，Mars负责技术和产品，Okayboss负责艺术设计。
Mars告诉我，他们希望能帮到那些不怎么喜欢运动的朋友，而不是那些本身就是运动爱好者的人。对后者，现在市面上已经有许多产品可选，比如Nike+或者Jawbone，对前者，关键得找一个主动激发点，让他们自愿去运动。为了自己的宠物出去走两步，应该会有不少人动心吧。
我很赞同Mars的观点。对年轻人来说，运动类的应用或者可穿戴设备的确缺少一个激发点，干嘛要用呢？那些喜欢运动的，不戴这些一样会去跑步，留下宅男宅女继续在家里蹲着。找到这些人的点，让他们愿意走出来，才是打开这块市场的关键。
怎么做呢？游戏化是一个不错的方法，之前我们报道过，也是将寻宝破冰等游戏化元素引入跑步中。Wokamon的独创性在于，宠物养成正是宅一族所热衷的点，以此来关联运动，Bingo！

出门在外也不愁爱狗网获第二轮融资 马云青睐宠物电子商务
　　阿里巴巴创始人马云是超级狗迷，这是原宠物婚配网站aigogo520创始人，现爱狗网CEO周汉东在2007年的一个意外发现。
　　当时周汉东参加一档创业真人秀节目，试图以“宠物社交网站”的计划赢得一笔风险投资，并把宠物用品电子商务作为未来目标。周汉东最终被淘汰，但马云记住了他。
　　“（马云）认为盈利点不清晰但做宠物电子商务的想法很新。”周汉东对《第一财经周刊》说。
　　爱狗网在周汉东接手前曾经叫“狗宝宝”，2005年马云出于“好玩”拉了几个阿里巴巴的同事做了这个宠物社区网站。当时有近百家类似的宠物社区网站，狗宝宝的特别之处是从来不在论坛中刊登广告。
　　当时论坛网站的普遍做法是先通过免费吸引会员注册，凝聚了一定人气后，就通过投放广告来获得收入。这使很多宠物网站投放了过多广告，最终让会员产生抵触情绪，影响到论坛的人气。
　　作为后来者，爱狗网的无广告策略赢得了不少网友的好感，这逐渐增加了论坛的人气。爱狗网几乎没有做过在线推广，而是通过在全国各地6000家宠物医院张贴有爱狗网网址的海报和招贴来吸引会员。
　　“宠物店和宠物医院是最有效的线下投放，有些狗主人不上网，但是会去小区宠物用品店买东西。那些宠物用品小店和连锁店是爱狗做线下推广的主要目标。”周汉东说。后来这些店开始把爱狗网视为竞争对手，不愿意合作，双方逐渐终止了合作。
　　爱狗网的另一个创始人陈金飞曾在2006年作为发起人成立CKU（中国光彩事业促进会犬业协会），并成为世界犬业联盟（FCI）在中国内地的唯一成员。这意味着，国内只有CKU签发的“血统证书”才能获得FCI的认可。凭借这个资源优势，爱狗网随后把社区和协会认证做了结合，通过给注册会员的狗颁发血统认证进一步提升了人气。
　　随着爱狗网人气的不断增高，这个网站已经需要考虑盈利的问题―不断增加的运营成本使这个网站不仅仅是一个好玩的事情。
　　2007年初，爱狗网开始尝试做C2C。如同淘宝最初的生意模式一样，爱狗网对所有的商家免费，但爱狗网显然没有淘宝网那样的雄厚的资金实力可以慢慢积累人气然后想办法盈利。
　　周汉东的任务就是帮助这个人气不错的网站找到赚钱的办法。2007年7月，aigogo520被爱狗网收购，周汉东来到北京，以职业经理人的身份出任爱狗网CEO。
　　“对未来的方向比较模糊，大家都没有摸索到具体的方向，究竟往哪边走可能会产生收益。”周汉东说。
　　幸运的是，虽然一直尝试通过C2C模式盈利，但公司一直坚持不在论坛投放广告的策略，而且对论坛的服务版块持续投入。
　　周汉东接手时，“爱狗网”已经有上百万的注册用户，网站上狗主人在Blog上相互秀自己的宠物日常生活照片，在论坛里发帖讨论各自的宠物狗，并且谈论它们的吃喝拉撒。
　　“在这个阶段，人们更倾向于分享情感需求，对于实际需要，还没有成型。”周汉东说。论坛上“狗妈妈”们抱怨狗得急病，对一些症状不了解而耽误了病情的帖子，使得爱狗网形成一些专业的需求。
　　2007年底，爱狗网成立了医院版块。网站运营人员开始在网上寻找有资质的宠物医生谈，有合作意向的医生和网站达成协议，以排班制的形式在线回答狗主人的问题。从一开始的十几位到现在的一百多位医生，累计23.5万的问诊数量，医生回答率达到95%。
　　论坛里对“医院版块”的注意力直线上升。紧接着网站推出“助理版块”，“犬知道”是一款模仿“百度知道”的网友互动平台。狗主人在论坛上问一些狗衣食住行的问题，只要热心网友回答得令狗主人满意，会得到规定的奖励，累计奖励可以换奖品。免费试用产品聚拢了不少从来没注意过爱狗网的消费者。
　　增加网站黏性的举措得到用户的响应，从2007年推出这两个免费的服务板块开始至今，爱狗网注册用户超过400万，活跃用户超过25%。周汉东认为建立专业可信赖的网站形象让爱狗网赢得了不少用户的信任感，如果网站开始售卖用户们讨论度高的产品，应该会得到用户的响应。
　　周汉东称自己一直认为B2C才是真正可以赚钱的项目，但这是一个投入很高的商业模式。2009年1月，爱狗网获得来自软银、IDG以及阿里巴巴投资部1000万美元的联合投资。这使得周汉东有能力筹备期望已久的B2C业务。
　　钱到位之后，他立刻调整了网站，把卖家全部撤掉，开始招兵买马筹建B2C业务―爱狗在线商城。2009年初拿到风投后的7个月里，爱狗商城一直在筹备中。周汉东称，和IT后台支持、网站运营策划等B2C需要的成本支出相比，最令他苦恼的是渠道。“和厂商谈判是最大的困难。”因为他的思路是绕开经销商，直接和厂商谈合作。
　　一开始他和渠道总监一起去拜访厂商。皇室、冠能等一线宠物食品厂商一听到电子商务就立刻回绝了他们的要求。“一线品牌比较强势，它们也非常顾虑线上线下销售的冲突。”周汉东说。
　　屡屡遭到拒绝后，周汉东开始转而联系在中国还不那么知名的外国品牌，这些新面孔在中国还没有打开销路，和宠物网站合作电子商务的推广模式让那些厂商“很兴奋”。
　　美国宠物洗护品牌Biogroom中国总代理阎艳认为，对于刚刚进入中国市场的外国宠物用品品牌，和知名宠物社区网站合作，可以很快有效地推广品牌，迅速打开知名度。
　　但周汉东对于论坛内的推销依然保持谨慎。推广部门一开始只有品牌中心和试用中心两个部分，品牌方面多以广告植入为主，比如置顶帖，培养品牌认知，介绍品牌故事。而试用中心则是和厂商合作，厂商免费派送试用品而且免费送货。
　　消费者在论坛里讨论度最高的还是那些大牌产品。爱狗网只能一边从大品牌的线下经销商那里拿货，一边花大力气扶持那些新品牌。“光免费帮那些新牌子做推广，就花了我们100多万。”周汉东称大品牌占据总销售额50％以上的份额。
　　尽管成本不菲，爱狗网从2009年到2010年底，从几十个合作品牌扩大到2300多个。
　　合作品牌的迅速扩大也得益于爱狗网淘宝旗舰店的开通，这让很多新品牌更乐于和爱狗网合作。“在淘宝旗舰店上宣传Biogroom这个品牌，一是符合这个品牌比较高端的定位，二是让消费者在网站上看到真伪商品的比较，而且他们认识了我们产品，会直接在旗舰店里购买。”
　　在淘宝上奋力打假几乎成了阎艳四年前代理这个品牌的工作重心。“和卖假货的淘宝店家对簿公堂是我第一次请律师。”
　　据阎艳提供的数据，Biogroom在淘宝爱狗旗舰店里上架以来，销售额已经从淘宝宠物洗护类销售排行榜的第十六位冲到第三位。
　　周汉东称，去年爱狗网销售额3000多万，依然亏损。这家公司显然也陷入了电子商务行业拼资本的怪圈。“目前电商都是非良性的竞争和发展。现在都是未知数，大家拼资本，因为恶性竞争使得大家都没有按照自身条件定价。谁能耗到最后谁就存活下来。”周汉东?说。
　　他的一个新计划是掌握渠道话语权。去年10月，爱狗网推出了B2B平台爱狗大仓，希望能够充当各品牌厂商最大的经销商。这个项目得到一直以来合作良好的新品牌们的支持，但是又一次遭到那些大品牌经销商的联合抵制。
　　爱狗网在上海有个销售团队，专门开发和小商铺的合作。还有一个宠爱天下的商盟，负责开发小型分销商。现在爱狗大仓的合作商铺共有2000多家，其中淘宝网上有三四百家。
　　但爱狗大仓面对的是一个艰难的博弈过程。台湾宠物食用品牌佑达在与爱狗网签订了合作协议后，被北京、上海、广州、成都几大经销商联合抗议，合作不得不终止。
　　为了缓和线上和线下渠道的销售矛盾，爱狗网目前提出的一个解决方案是厂商供给爱狗网特殊容量的产品，用以和线下的产品区别，包装上印有“爱狗特供”的标志。“因特供产生的包装印刷成本，强势厂商也会摊到我们身上。”渠道总监周星说。
　　三月底，爱狗网宣布获得了软银、IDG以及阿里巴巴投资部第二轮1000万美元的联合投资。“希望未来在小众市场做到70%份额，有绝对控制权。”周汉东称希望借爱狗大仓有效解决渠道问题，今年让公司实现盈亏平衡。
