【寓 言】-The Bat and the Weasels
Read the story. Translate the sentence in red and write down what you're thinking about to get the score.
ABAT falling upon the ground was caught by a Weasel（黄鼠狼）, ofwhom he earnestly sought his life. The Weasel refused, saying, that he was bynature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, buta mouse, and thus saved his life. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell on theground, and was caught by another Weasel, whom he likewise entreated not to eathim. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility（敌意）tomice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, and thus a secondtime escaped.
It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.
