在UCLA的EE系有人了解吗？想问下他家EE有哪些方向？
&众所周知UCLA的EE专业实力很强，据说该专业的faculty有全美前五的水平。据我了解，这个专业主要有三个研究方向：(1) Circuitsand Embedded Systems (2) Physical and Wave Electronics (3) Signals andSystems 三个方向的申请难度所有不同，信号与系统（Signals and Systems）的申请会略容易于Circuits and Embedded Systems。但是据称，UCLA在Circuits and Embedded Systems有超常的实力，系里有诸如Abidi，Frank. Chang， Razavi这样大神级的人物。而Signals and Systems这块儿也有像Broadcom的创始人Henry这样的实干家。他家的Circuits and Embedded Systems方向，每年都吸引了无数的申请者，但是本科生（除非有教授直接想收学生)直接申请到PhD的几率还是比较小的。当然足够优秀的申请者也可以先申请MS,然后到第二年的时候可以参加PhD的资格考试，学生有一半的通过几率。
