2014考研英语人生哲理作文必背模板:Dreams/ objectives
17:07&&作者:&&来源:&&字号:|
Dreams/ objectives 梦想和目标的意义
The cartoon aims at informing us of the significance of our dreams/objectives. Definitely, no once can deny the importance of it. Our dreams/goals/ideals/objectives will prevent us from quitting easily especially when we are in great trouble. They will lead us to the destination we are eager to reach, bring out the best in us and stimulate us to remain firm in our faith. To further illustrate the importance of dreams/objectives, I would like to take Helen Keller as a case in point: how could she, a disabled woman who was born blind and deaf, finally be a world-renowned writer who wrote If I Had Three Days to See without her dreams to overcome physical limitations.
Accordingly, at no time should we underestimate the power of dreams/objectives. furthermore, we must set up proper goals before we start to do anything and stick to it whatever difficulties we meet . “One of the most dangerous forms of human error is forgetting what one is trying to achieve. ” Paul Nitze once said.

After Xi cartoon, mystery studio turns to dreams ...
Shanghai Daily
Web Editor: Gu Liping
The studio which made a cartoon about how China's President Xi Jinping made it to the top has released its second work: "The Communist Party Of China Is With You Along The Way."
The three-minute video illustrates the many dreams of China's people.
From students and farmers to dancers and delivery staff, their aspirations are various. Among them are "a good harvest," "to start a diner," "some more pension," "a pretty wife," "azure sky and cleaner water" and "a world free of wars."
The words: "Our people's dreams are our goals" appear on the screen, a quote from Xi.
Over film of urban and rural scenes is the description: "This is an ancient and youthful country. It is growing fast yet with development disparities. It's full of opportunities along with untold challenges. But its 1.3 billion people all have their own dreams.
"The 80 million Communist Party members together with the entire population are working for everyone's dream. On the road chasing our dreams, we walk side by side, sharing weal and woe, transcending difference and shaping the future together."
Led by the Party, Chinese people have the opportunity to make their dreams come true, the video concludes.
Chinese landmarks such as the Great Wall and water towns in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, as well as scenes from modern life, including traffic jams and factories pouring out smoke, are featured.
Hammer and sickle
A Shikumen building in Shanghai, the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, is also shown.
About a third of the way through, the Party emblem of a hammer and sickle appears in the bottom right hand corner.
Mystery surrounds the makers of the video. The studio is only identified as Fuxinglushang, or "On the road to revival."
Fuxing is a pun which can be understood as revival in Chinese. No other clues were given to its identity but many people believe the video had been made by official agencies based in Beijing.
Many Chinese cities have a Fuxing Road. In Beijing, the road is lined with government departments, including offices of the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and China Central TV Station.
The studio's first work, telling how national leaders achieved their positions, proved hugely popular.
The cartoon featuring Xi, US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron was viewed more than a million times in the first three days after it went online in October.
Xi's story focused on the selection process of Chinese leaders while comparing China's system with that of the US and Britain.
Some Internet users have speculated that the clip was probably a gesture to the political reforms to come at November's Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
