&&& 高等学校英语应用能力考试是教育部高教司组织的全国高校专
科英语统一考试。这项考试从2000年正式开始,每学期末举行一次,
即每年的6月份、12月份各举行一次(英语四、六级考试的第二天)。
&&& 山东省根据教育部《高职高专英语课程教学的基本要求》制定了
针对本省专科学生的考核标准,并且对考试的内容作了明确规定,如
考试的范围、题型、分值等。2003年后,山东省高教处在几次考试的
基础上进一步完善了考试方案,经过反复调整,曰趋成熟。
&&& 首先,近几年随着高职高专教育事业的蓬勃发展,国家对高等职
业教育的投入加大,重视教学质量的提高,鼓励课程改革创新,规范
高职教育教学标准,寻求有效的方法来衡量学生的实际能力。在山
东省各高职高专院校内,高职高专英语应用能力考试(以下简称能力
考试)和其他各类证书的考试一样,越来越受到学生的关注,尤其是
山东省教育厅强调要求省内各专科学校把能力考试组织好。这就意
味着一个高职高专学生能否顺利完成学业,其英语能力考试的通过
与否是非常重要的。其次,随着能力考试影响的加大,这种证书已经
被越来越多的企事业单位所接受,成为聘用人才的凭证。我们就是
基于这种思路,严格遵照山东省教育厅对能力考试的要求,为满足广
大考生的实际需求,专门组织一部分多年来在一线从事高职英语教
学的优秀教师和辅导考试成绩卓著的优秀教师,编写了这本《山东省
高职高专英语应用能力考试精典题库》(以下简称《题库》),以供考生
复习之用。
&&& 《题库》内容包括:应试对策和专家提示;两套真题;全真模拟试
卷(十套);附录。其中,附录包括:录音文字材料;真题和全真模拟试
卷参考答案;山东省高职高专英语应用能力考试大纲。为了帮助考
生把握考点和命题的方向,在编写中我们组织力量反复推敲真题,认
真分析研究山东省能力考试的发展趋势,科学地编排全真模拟试卷,
努力做到考题的形式和容量与真题一致,让考生从内容和形式上迅
速了解和把握考题,力求使考题具有很强的实用性、创新性和前瞻
性。另外,我们特别邀请了部分专家进行审题,征求他们的意见,多
次修改成型。可以断言,这是一本能帮助学生迅速提高成绩、使考生
轻松过关的参考书。当然,我们也考虑到了随着时间的推移真题会
发生变化和更新的情况,所以,我们将广泛搜集相关信息,密切把握
发展动态,及时做出快速反应并调整《题库》。

Part I& Listening Comprehension ( 15 points, one point each)

Directions: This part is to test your listening ability. It consists of 3 sections.
Directions: In this section, you will hear 5 short dialogues. At the end of
each dialogue, a question will be asked about what was said. Both the dia-
logue and question will be spoken only once. After each question there will be
a pause. During the pause, you must read the 4 choices marked A, B, C and
D, and decide which is the best answer. Then mark the corresponding letter
on the Answer Sheet with a single line through the center.

Directions: In this section you will hear a short passage. The passage is prin-
ted on the test paper, but with some words missing. The passage will be read
twice. The first reading is for you to get the general idea. During the second

the Answer Sheet with a single line through the centre.
