乔·克劳福德，全名约瑟夫·乔伊·克劳福德（Joseph ·Joey·Crawford），日出生于美国，1977年正式成为NBA裁判，他的背号为17。[1]
克劳福德执法
，全名约瑟夫·乔伊·，生于日，1977年正式成为NBA裁判，从事裁判职业30多年。克劳福德是NBA金哨子人物，他保持了NBA裁判执法和总决赛的纪录。而克劳福德一家也堪称是裁判世家，父亲和哥哥都是MLB（美国棒球大联盟）的执法裁判。克劳福德身披17号，历来以“嘴不饶人”闻名。2003年季后赛，克劳福德曾在10分钟吹了4次，其中直接导致主教练被驱逐出场。而被罚仅仅是因为没有听从克劳福德的命令，乖乖坐在板凳上。随后克劳福德又将小牛当时的助理教练，前湖人和前中国国家队教练驱逐出场。
1.克劳福德在联盟的第三年，还是个只有28岁的愣头青。他在洛杉矶比赛的时候，总会把热身外套放在座位旁边的技术台上，因为是他的粉丝，超爱他的电影，所以他要是在座位上的话，克劳福德就会盯着他看一会儿，但不会去打招呼。
结果在他做NBA裁判的第三年，克劳福德说：“当我照常把外套放在那
边的时候，我终于跟他打招呼了，‘杰克，你好啊。’结果他竟然回答了我说‘你好啊乔’。当时我激动坏了，随便找了球馆里的一个付费电话，给我老婆打电话吼道：“知道我是谁！&
2.有一次克劳福德特别激动的给比尔-费奇一个技术犯规，结果把自己的手指给弄脱臼了。因为他击掌的时候太用力了（注：技术犯规的手势为伸直手掌比出“T”的形状）。后来他在比划技犯的时候再也不敢那么用力了。[2]

在实施零容忍规则，在执法马刺和的一场比赛中，由于邓肯坐在板凳上大笑，克劳福德以邓肯侮辱自己为由将其驱逐。事后，NBA高层对此进行调查，并决定对克劳福德无限期禁赛，克劳福德也因此缺席了2007年季后赛和总决赛。对克劳福德的评价是“失去了作为一名NBA裁判应有的判断力”。
2008年西部决赛的第四场，湖人作客马刺。在比赛最后时刻，湖人球员侵犯了前马刺、火箭球员的投篮。如果当时克劳福德吹响哨子的话，那么巴里将用罚球绝杀湖人，但克劳福德作为当时距离事发地点最近的裁判，却选择了视若无睹，最终湖人以4比1淘汰了马刺，事后，NBA还就此事进行了道歉。
2009年季后赛首轮火箭面对开拓者的第二场比赛中，在比赛最后1.3秒时火箭还落后2分。开拓者的费尔南德斯在接队友的界外发球时摔倒在地，克劳福德的哨声也随之响起。但通过回放，当时根本没有一名火箭队员和那位接触。这个判罚也最终导致火箭客场第二战输球。[3]
北京时间16年1月2日，据《HOOPSHYPE》的消息，NBA著名裁判乔-克劳福德将在赛季结束后退休。
克劳福德从1977年开始执法NBA比赛，到了16年已经38年。[4]
