概念让人们看到，新一代的 可能已经来临。然而我们无需等待Google未来眼镜来打造下一代革命级消费产品，因为很多类似的功能其实可以在现有智能手机上实现。
服务vs.应用（App）
对于大多数移动App开发者来说，其开发思路仍然来自于PC上的软件，大多将PC上的用户体验搬到移动终端上来。在手机上，当需要什么服务时，我们往往打开手机上的某个App，比方说当我需要获得好的餐馆推荐时，我会打开iPhone上的Yelp App。而在PC上，我们往往通过打开某个软件来实现自己的需求，比如说打开Outlook来查阅邮件。
对于如今的很多人来说，往往只有两种情况：要么在线，要么不在线，网络已经成为我们生活的一部分。而那些运行在移动设备后台的App（如邮件），对于我们的离线体验和交互并没有带来任何的不适。这样的服务在其它很多App上都存在，因此，它已经不仅仅是一个App，而是一项全新的服务：运行于设备后台、时刻与我们同在，并给我们的日常工作和生活增加价值的服务。
为什么说它是“智能”的
“智能”意味着对用户以及用户生理、精神状态的理解。
智能服务将在后台处理用户的信息，通过对环境周围用户意图的实时掌握来准确预测并给出建议和结果，同时基于其不同的判断结果做出不同的交互行为。如今能实时处理用户状态的App几乎没有，但是根据用户过去的行为数据做出判断的应用则开始出现。
用户交互的变革
目前的移动应用几乎都是通过提醒（notification）和短信（SMS）让我们返回App，当听到一个提示音、看到提示灯或者收到短信时，我们就知道有新的信息需要处理，此时就会打开相应的App来查阅并处理。但是很少有可以根据我现在所处的环境而进行的“智能提醒”，这类提醒能根据我当下的环境判断信息对于我的价值，只有当信息具有真正价值时才会给予我提醒。而且它们可以通过我所处环境的不同而做出不一样的交互反应。
下面是这类服务的几个特点：
*它们会改变我们的物理交互，同时将会是我们线下体验的补充
*这样的服务基本运行于后台，可以对当下有一个非常准确的判断
*很多情况下它将通过“打扰”的方式与用户进行交互，而且只有在其提供的信息真正能给用户带来价值时才会“打扰”，比方说你的车到了。因此它将能解决如今最为重要的一个信息过载的问题。
*其交互将多种多样，这取决于用户所处的环境。它不会时常给予你建议或打扰你，但是一旦给予提醒，则其提供的信息将是非常有益的。
*对周围环境的认知将遵循一些非常简单的启发性服务和对大量数据的处理。比方说，很多家庭自动化应用只需要知道我是否到家，如果判断我到家了那么就会自动开启某项服务（音乐、灯光等）。但是对于更加复杂的交互、推荐以及汇报就需要更加复杂的数据分析和处理。
下面看看几个简单实际的需求
*饮食：当我走近某个冰激凌店但是事实上我可能想吃冻酸奶，此时某个App（服务）判断出了我的真实意图，那么就可以给出附近冻酸奶店的推荐，并鼓励我去相应商店购买
*音乐与家用自动化：当我开车正式进入车道时，相应的App就可以根据我的状态播放相应的音乐
*驾驶：当我驾驶汽车出现在道路上时，如果能有个App时刻提醒我前方的路况信息并给出合理的建议，那将给我们的生活带来很大的方便
*发现：对于一些基于地理位置的非常棒的活动，我们如何能发现？如果能有某个App根据我的需求自动推荐相应活动，那将非常有意义

First you have to select the type of the restaurant from the given list and then you can have further information about that. After entering the City/Zip Code or the Location where you are looking for the restaurant, you will get the whole list of restaurants offering your choice of food. The search result would give information about their address, phone no, rating and URL (if one has). Before going at the restaurant you can also call directly for having more information if you wish. The additional featureoThe main additional feature of this application is its facility of Weather Forecasting. The moment you start the application, it shows the image, weather condition, temperature and humidity level at the bottom left tracking your current location. oIn addition to this, you can also change the setting- changing order, radius and number of records on one page for bespoke results. To encapsulate, this application facilitates you to surf and get information of all the restaurants of USA whenever you wish.

it wouldve been a great app. it's just that it was never updated or improved after it's release. as a result, establishments that have been closed for years are still listed, and places that actually exist are not listed. I like how it has sort by rating, distance, and relevance, it even has a wide selection of restaurant types from breakfast to dive bars to international cuisine of specific countries and cultures. it wouldve been cool if they added a bit more cultures or give you the option to actually type in a category not listed, but no it doesnt. i also wished it allowed you yo rate restaurants and see the ratings. that said i dont know what theyre reference is for restaurant ratings since it doesnt have a feedback system or rating system. bottom line, download the YELP app instead. it has reviews, it has user feedback, it categorizes and even shows price ranges etc. this app gad potential, but didnt bother to reach it :(
Pretty good app that would benefit from some minor improvements
Nice & informative. Three minor useability issues:1. What should be labelled the &all restaurants& filter option is actually labelled &Restaurants& and is not at the top of the list.2. There is no default search option. You cannot set one.3. In multiple-page result sets, moving to the next page does not return the viewer location to the top of the screen. Other than this, it seems to work well.
Don't cry worked fine
From all the crying in rating I thought the worse. But seems to work fine. Provides phone number, call ahead to see if restaurant is closed. Worked great except for weather status. But don't need it. IPhone can get it.
